Sabhal Mòr Ostaig, in association with the Scottish Centre for Island Studies, Faculty of Business and Creative Industries at the University of the West of Scotland, are hosting a two-day event to celebrate the Centenary of late Society bard Sorely MacLean’s birth. The event will be taking place from the 16th through to the 18th of June, 2011, at Sabhal Mòr Ostaig’s campus in Skye.

In commemoration of the centenary of the birth of Sorley MacLean (1911–1996) Sabhal Mòr Ostaig and the Scottish Centre for Island Studies, Faculty of Business and Creative Industries, University of the West of Scotland invite you to join in a celebration of his life, work and legacy.
