Originally launched in June 2008, it has amassed a treasure–trove of photos, articles, and notes about Uig — more than 500 posts and 1,000 photos — in a little over two years.  It’s easy to lose a couple of hours just scratching the surface of the archives, and it makes for an invaluable resource for scholars and descendants of Uig.</p><p>The site’s curator and chief writer Sarah has written an introduction to <a href="http://www.ceuig.com/archives/1930">the relaunched website</a>, and it’s an excellent place to start for both new and returning visitors.
